Light Rain Predicted to Pour in Several Jakarta Areas Today

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light moderate rain to pour in several Jakarta areas from morning. Citizen should be aware of any weather change.

Early warning for South Jakarta and East Jakarta because rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind between afternoon and night

"Most areas in Jakarta are partly sunny this morning, while light rain pours in North Jakarta and East Jakarta," mentioned Hary Tirto Djatmiko, Head Divsision of BMKG's Public Relation, Thursday (9/6).

Partly Sunny Weather Today in Jakarta

Afternoon, BMKG predicted light rain to pour in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. While at night, light rain will pour in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta and moderate rain in South Jakarta and East Jakarta.

"Light rain will also pour at dawn in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. While moderate rain in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands," he informed.

Temperature could reach 23-34 Celsius degree with humidity 50-85 percent. North-southeast wind velocity to reach around 5-25 kilometers per hour.

"Early warning for South Jakarta and East Jakarta because rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind between afternoon and night," he affirmed.
